Welcome to Beacon Musical Society!

(BeaMS).
As Beacon Musical Society, we continue our long history of being a welcoming light in the theatre world, our local community, and the lives of our members and our fantastic audiences. We’re excited to write the next chapter of our story with you.

Rapunzel
We are pleased to announce our second show of 2026 will be Rapunzel – a Pantomime in November! Suitable for all ages!
The story that we all know and love of an incredibly long-haired Princess who is trapped in a tower meets Panto mayhem in this premiere production of Rapunzel the Pantomime! In this version of Rapunzel’s story, our Princess and her pet Chameleon must escape boredom with the help of our Hero, Flynn, a conspiracy-theorist podcaster who is determined to prove himself to his mother Widow Twankey, the local Hairdresser, by solving the mystery of the so-called ‘Empty Tower’ that overlooks their kingdom. Meanwhile, the ever-angry Queen and sad, lettuce-obsessed King are planning a festival to help them find their missing daughter on the eve of her 18th birthday.
Celebrating all things Pantomime, this family-friendly production features brilliantly parodied modern songs, audience interaction for all-ages and hilarious jokes told by cheer-able Goodies and boo-able Baddies! Will Rapunzel and Flynn manage to find the truth and reunite her with the King and Queen, or will they be caught in the clutches of the Witch and her dastardly Cronies?
