Welcome to Beacon Musical Society!
We are excited to announce that after 48 years as Eastwood Uniting Church Musical Society (EUCMS) – and an earlier 15 years as Eastwood Methodist Musical Society (that’s 63 years and counting of musical theatre in Eastwood, Epping and beyond) – we have now become Beacon Musical Society Inc. (BeaMS).
As Beacon Musical Society, we continue our long history of being a welcoming light in the theatre world, our local community, and the lives of our members and our fantastic audiences. We’re excited to write the next chapter of our story with you.
And what better way to celebrate than with our next show – Mary Poppins!

About the Show
When Mary Poppins arrives in Cherry Tree Lane, the Banks family hope she might be the perfect nanny to restore peace and harmony to their dysfunctional home. Mysterious and magical, Mary Poppins is indeed “practically perfect” – but not in the ways the family expected or imagined; and soon they find themselves on extraordinary adventures that will both disrupt and transform their family life.
Based on the classic books and hit 1964 Disney film, this joyous musical features spectacular dance numbers and iconic songs that include “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”, “A Spoonful of Sugar”, “Feed the Birds” and “Chim Chim Cher-ee”

If you are interested in general society membership both on or off stage, please contact us at members@beams.org.au for details regarding our next New Members Night.
Adult membership is available for those in Year 8 high school and above. When a show requires a younger performer, these roles will be cast at specific show auditions.
